The Eagle Trace Tennis Center exists for the enjoyment, safety and comfort of all Eagle Trace, Vizcaya, and Venetian Isles residents and their guests. In order to achieve these goals the Board of Governors of Eagle Trace has adopted the following rules and regulations. Any person(s) violating any of the rules and regulations could subject themselves to suspension from the use of the facility. Non-residents are not entitled to any privileges of the Eagle Trace Tennis Center.

The purpose of these Rules and Regulations is to insure all residents will have the availability of play at all times.

Tennis Center Rules and Regulations

Residents are allowed to bring non-resident guests to the Tennis Center as long as the Eagle Trace resident is present. A resident may bring up to three (3) guests at any one time. Residents must be present when court is reserved in their name,

Residents will be responsible for any loss or damage to the Tennis Center/Eagle Trace Community Association property for which they or their guests are responsible.

All players, whether residents or guests, play at their own risk. The Eagle Trace Community Association is not responsible for any injuries or personal property damage.

Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children on Tennis Center premises at all times. They shall be responsible for all charges incurred by their children including any loss of or damage to Tennis Center/Eagle Trace Community Association property.

The Eagle Trace Community Association reserves the right to terminate guest/resident privileges of any person(s) at its discretion.

The Tennis Center is here for the private enjoyment of the residents and their guests. The facility cannot be used for any use other than recreational tennis play. No member may bring a teaching tennis professional unto the courts without the authorization of the Eagle Trace Board of Governors.

The Eagle Trace Board of Governors may appoint an authorized exclusive teaching Professional for the Eagle Trace Tennis Center. Any additional teaching professionals must be approved by the Eagle Trace Board of Governors.

All teaching professionals must submit to the Association the following prior to being allowed use of the courts:

Proof of legal ability to work in the United States.
    Photo Identification
    Valid Social Security card
Provide proof of current U.S.P.T.A. membership
Proof of liability and workmen’s compensation insurance. The insurance certificate must show Eagle Trace Community Association Inc. as an additional insured.

Tennis etiquette shall be observed at all times while on the premises.

Proper tennis attire is required at all times:

Shoes – only approved clay court sneakers.
Clothing – Men are required to wear a shirt at all times.

Court Reservations will be made through the Eagle Trace Web Site. If you do not have internet access you may call the Management Office at 954-796-5013 for reservations:

Each resident may reserve only one court at a time per day.
Reservations will be accepted from residents seven (7) days in advance.
No one may sign up for another court while still engaged in play.
Playing on a court constitutes having that court reserved regardless of who made the actual reservation. (I.e. Smith may not play on Jones’ court at 9:00am and have a court reservation for 10:00am.)
Once a player is off the court, he/she may sign up for the next available court.
Reservations may be cancelled ten (10) minutes past the reservation time, in the event of no-shows

Playing time:

    Singles – one hour
Doubles – one and one half hours

Rain delays (when more than one court is unplayable), lasting more than half an hour will result in the cancellation of all reservations for that whole morning or evening period. During this am or pm rain out period, dry courts from 1-6 are claimed on a first come, first serve basis.  After the initial 1½ hour of usage, courts 1-6 are vacated to those residents who have been waiting or to residents who have reservations –when none are waiting.  During rain delays, sharing courts is voluntary but is encouraged (ie. Share the court as a Singles match becomes doubles).

Lost & Found- Check at the Management’s Office Mon-Fri for items found and turned in.

Tennis teams for league play may not be established without the approval of Eagle Trace, with the following condition:
Team must have at least 60% residents of Eagle Trace, Vizcaya, or Venetian Isles residents.  To encourage usage of residents, non-residents on rosters may be required to pay a league fee.

(Eagle Trace reserves the right to modify the above at any time without notice.)
